Cole Hauser is a busy guy.
In addition to starring in “Yellowstone,” whose fifth season kicks off on Nov. 10, he’s also lined up a couple of high profile endorsements. Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler on the popular Paramount series, is the face of Lucky Brand as well as its brother brand Frye, both of which are owned by Authentic Brands Group.
Just days after unveiling a collection of Western boots with Frye, Lucky released its first apparel collection with the actor.
Hauser has been an ambassador for Lucky since November of last year, but this marks the first product created through the partnership.
Lucky Brand x Cole Hauser encompasses 20 pieces of Americana-inspired menswear ranging from graphic Ts, Henleys and plaid work shirts to corduroy overshirts, denim and leather jackets.
“As a fan of Lucky Brand since 1990, this collaboration was decades in the making,” Hauser told WWD. “If you’re curious about what I wear on a daily basis, this is it. Lucky Brand is all about unpretentious, raw looks that have lived-in character and that’s what I wanted to get across during the design process. I hope America enjoys this timeless collection as much as I enjoyed designing it.”
The collaboration launched Thursday on the Lucky Brand site as well as at select retailers including Macy’s and Dillard’s. The collection ranges in price from $39 to $499 and sizing runs from small to XXL.
In addition to his apparel and footwear endorsements, Hauser has his own coffee and lifestyle brand, Free Rein Coffee Company. And also on Thursday, that business introduced two limited-edition Cowboy Coffee Kits in partnership with Stetson. The kits feature a new coffee blend called the Trailblazer along with two co-branded mugs. The Free Rein x Stetson Cowboy Coffee Kits are available in either ground beans or pods for $70 and will be sold on the websites of both brands as well as at other select retailers. They will also be available at the Stetson x Free Rein pop-up at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas from Dec. 5-14.
“Since 1865, Stetson has stood for a quality, craftsmanship, and a trailblazing spirit, and this collaboration with Free Rein brings those core values to life in a new category,” said Stetson chief executive officer Robert Dundon.
Before “Yellowstone,” Hauser was featured in a number of films, including “Dazed and Confused,” “Good Will Hunting,” “The Break-Up” and “Tigerland,” the latter of which led to a nomination for Best Supporting Male at the Independent Spirit Awards.
