Queen Letizia of Spain put a new spin on a navy suit and loafers she wore at the top of December. The royal rewore both for an appearance at the Ship Juan Sebastian De Elcano in Cádiz on Saturday, Dec. 11.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia paired her blue Hugo Boss suit with an ivory lavallière blouse. She wore the suit with an ornate gold pearl-topped headband, gold sunburst earrings, and a gold ring. Queen Letizia completed her look with a pair of high-heel loafer from Massimo Dutti.
Queen Letizia previously wore the Hugo Boss suit on Dec. 3 in Madrid Spain while attending an event for the International and European Day of Persons with Disabilities. While at the State Reference Centre for Personal Autonomy and Technical Aids (CEAPAT), Queen Letizia paired the navy jacket and wide-leg trousers with the same Massimo Dutti loafers and a matching black top and black overcoat by Carolina Herrera. She finished the look with glass teardrop earrings by Boira.
Earlier this week Queen Letizia opted to wear blue for a royal reception at the Madrid palace on Thursday, Dec. 9. She wore a flowy maxi skirt in cornflower blue with a button-up shirt from the 2nd Skin Co. and a pair of navy kitten heel pumps.
Queen Letizia has made modern takes on suiting a staple in her wardrobe. Over the past year, she’s stepped out in unexpected colors like lavender, which she wore courtesy of Spanish brand Bleis Madrid in September to the National Radio for Everyone presentation. At the end of December she wore a suit in burgundy, 2024’s breakout color. For the inauguration of the new University Hospital of Cuenca, she paired Sézane’s Chelsea Jacket in burgundy with the brand’s Marino trousers in the same shade. She wore the suit with Hugo Boss’ beige silk blouse and a beige quilted shoulder bag by Adolfo Dominguez.
Queen Letizia also embraced burgundy at the start of this year, wearing a three-quarter-length gown in the trending color to the Pascua Militar ceremony at the royal palace alongside her daughter Crown Princess Leonor.
Below, take a look at the royal’s wardrobe, which features updates on classics with a timeless elegance.
