Mikey Madison made an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday night, wearing a burgundy dress that featured a plunging neckline and draped skirt. She was styled by Jamie Mizrahi.
Her dress featured subtle ruching, adding texture and dimension to the minimalist silhouette. Madison opted for simple accessories, including dainty rings on each hand.
Burgundy has emerged as a trendy color during fall 2024, dominating fashion runways and wardrobes. Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Prada and Victoria Beckham, among other brands, have embraced the trend with their recent collections.
On the “Tonight Show,” Madison opened up about her career milestones, including her SAG nomination for her role in “Anora.” The actress also shared stories about learning Russian for the film and a humorous boating incident.
Her performance in “Anora” has garnered significant attention, with Madison earning a nomination for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Film at Sunday’s Golden Globes. For the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, she wore a shimmering gold gown by Mathieu Blazy, designed during his final tenure at Bottega Veneta and earrings from Tiffany & Co. The floor-length dress featured intricate metallic detailing and a structured silhouette, styled to resemble the golden award itself.
The film, a mix of drama and comedy, follows her character’s journey through an unfamiliar culture, earning praise for its unique narrative.
Speaking to WWD earlier this month, Madison shared, “I feel very hopeful, which is fun. I was thinking earlier today about how I’ve had years where I haven’t worked — I’ve tried to, but for whatever reason, it’s been difficult to get a job, and so it’s really exciting to be in this position now,” she says. “I’m able to read scripts that I would never have dreamed of being able to read however many years ago.”
