Kim Kardashian dug into the Mugler archives for her 2024 Academy Museum Gala look. The reality star and Skims founder attended the Los Angeles event on Saturday wearing a structured white corset and a matching hooded coat from the French label’s spring 1998 couture collection.
Kardashian, who was dressed by her longtime stylist Dani Levi, accessorized with a diamond necklace and PVC peep-toe heels.
The lifestyle brand entrepreneur wore her dark tresses in old Hollywood-inspired waves, while her makeup consisted of pink blush and a nude lip.
Earlier this month, Kardashian embraced minimalist dressing — with an edge — at ChainFest LA. The annual food festival serves exclusive gourmet offerings from various chain restaurants, some of which are prepared by Michelin star chefs. Kardashian selected an all-black outfit consisting of a black cropped t-shirt and low-rise leather moto pants, accessorizing with point-toe heels.
In September, she served as a co-chair at Kering’s third annual Caring for Women dinner. The company’s eponymous foundation, which is celebrating its 16th anniversary, raised $2 million to end gender-based violence.
Hosted by the organization’s honorary president, Salma Hayek, the event’s other A-list co-chairs included Naomi Watts, Matthew McConaughey and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Kering’s portfolio of luxury brands was represented among the crowd: Watts, Kardashian and Kerry Washington were clad in custom Balenciaga, while Hayek, Raye and Dakota Johnson sported Gucci gowns. The evening’s master of ceremonies, Gayle King, wore Alexander McQueen.
The Academy Museum Gala is an annual fundraising event held in Los Angeles by members of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. The gala supports the museum’s cinema exhibits, along with educational programs.
