The actress opted for a strapless cobalt gown from Oscar de la Renta‘s pre-fall 2024 collection, which featured leaf motifs and a skirt lined with fringe. Chastain added on a pair of patent leather Jimmy Choo platforms, completing her look with large hoop earrings.
Stylist Elizabeth Stewart, who also counts Amanda Seyfried and Cate Blanchett as clients, dressed Chastain for the occasion.

The 39th annual ceremony, held in Los Angeles on Sunday, is hosted by comedian and former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Aidy Bryant. This year sees the introduction of a new category: Best Breakthrough Performance in a New Scripted Series.
