Hillary Clinton popped with patriotic pride in a fiery red pantsuit on Saturday at the White House, where she was bestowed with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor.
It was an apt choice for the former Secretary of State to choose an American brand for the ceremony, where she was joined by its founder — and fellow honoree — Ralph Lauren.

The outfit might look familiar. Clinton wore the same pantsuit with elongated jacket on Sept. 26, 2016 for another historic event, her first presidential debate against Donald Trump, which drew 84 million viewers and became the most-watched televised presidential debate in U.S. history.

She continued wearing Ralph Lauren for two additional debates against Trump, choosing a pantsuit in blue and another in white. Clinton lost the election to Trump, who became the 45th and 47th President of the United States.

Clinton received the medal for her decades in public service, which included Secretary of State under President Barack Obama, Senator (New York) and first lady of the United States during Bill Clinton’s tenure in office.
Clinton and Lauren were among the 19 leaders who were also honored at the ceremony for their “extraordinary contributions to their country and the world,” according to the White House.
