Ford to hike prices on some Mexico-made models


Despite the price hikes, Ford is among the automakers that are better-equipped to navigate the US’ punishing new trade environment. By Stewart Burnett

Ford has announced US price increases of up to US$2,000 for three models produced in Mexico: the Mustang Mach-E e-SUV, the Maverick pickup, and the Bronco Sport. The hikes apply to vehicles built from 2 May onwards and arriving at dealerships by late June; Ford has attributed the hikes to tariffs alongside routine mid-year price updates.
