EXCLUSIVE: Pharrell Williams Launches ‘Titan’ Jewelry Collection With Tiffany & Co.

The next chapter of the relationship between LVMH-owned American jeweler Tiffany & Co. and Pharrell Williams has been born: Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams.

The multihyphenate creative, who is also men’s creative director at Louis Vuitton, has revealed a jewelry collection inspired by the mythological Poseidon’s trident.

“I’m very inspired by the water, and the name of this collection, ‘Titan,’ draws inspiration from Poseidon, ruler of the sea, King of Atlantis — Atlantis, which is also the name of the community I grew up in Virginia Beach,” Williams said. “The detail in all of the jewelry pieces is very intentional, the use of black titanium…it’s a physical manifestation of beauty in blackness.”

According the the brand, the trident represents a symbol of fearless individuality, the motif is juxtaposed by a unique shaped link that is curved and soft against the sharpness of the spear; a dialogue between tensions, proportion and balance. The collection is meant to appeal to people with a unique mindset and powerful force that confronts the ordinary, the brand said.

“We are excited to unveil Pharrell’s inaugural collection for Tiffany. The Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams collection defies the conventions of fine jewelry design. It represents a balance of Pharrell’s creative vision with Tiffany & Co.’s inventive craftsmanship,” said Alexandre Arnault, executive vice president, product, communications and industrial, Tiffany & Co. “Each piece embodies Pharrell’s distinct style and unique point of view.”

The collection incorporates sharp, spear-like spikes within an array of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings that are edgy yet refined with a sense of punk spirit. The 19-piece collection comes in 18-karat yellow gold or titanium with all-metal and diamond iterations; pavé pieces feature reverse-set diamonds that expose the diamond’s pavilion.

“Working closely with the in-house design team to bring the house’s heritage into this new era has been an honor,” Williams said. “I am in awe of their craftsmanship. It’s exciting to see this come to fruition.”

Priced from $3,500-$53,000, the collection debuts first at The Landmark on New York’s Fifth Avenue and Tiffany.com in the U.S, followed by a global debut in June at international boutiques.
