Cate Blanchett’s Golden Globes Style Through the Years: Donna Karan, Jean Paul Gaultier, Armani Privé and More Red Carpet Looks

For the 77th Golden Globe Awards, Blanchett, nominated for her performance in “Where’d You Go, Bernadette,” wore a custom Mary Katrantzou gown. The intricately designed dress featured a pleated yellow bodice with dramatic winged shoulders, transitioning into a structured silver and crystal-embellished skirt. She completed the look with Pomellato jewelry.  

Nominated for “Carol,” Blanchett donned a pale pink Givenchy couture gown. Designed by Riccardo Tisci, the dress featured a high neckline, floral appliqués, and delicate fringe detailing throughout. She paired the look with Tiffany & Co. diamond jewelry. 

Blanchett took home the award for “Blue Jasmine” in a black lace Armani Privé gown. The dress featured a fitted bodice with a sheer back, showcasing delicate geometric embroidery. She accessorized with Chopard diamond earrings.  

For her nomination in “Notes on a Scandal,” Blanchett wore a black lace off the shouldergown by Alexander McQueen. The strapless design was accented with embroidered sleeves and paired with a a statement belt.

Blanchett won the award for “The Aviator” while wearing a one-shoulder periwinkle Jean Paul Gaultier gown. The silk chiffon dress featured a high neckline and flowing silhouette with floral appliqués. She added Cartier jewelry to complete the ensemble.  

Nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture in “Aviator” Blanchett opted for a scarlet red Donna Karan gown showing off her baby bump and featuring a glorious train. The sleek design was complemented by minimal accessories and a bold red lip.  

Blanchett, nominated for “Veronica Guerin,” wore a vibrant Valentino spring 2003 gown. The dress featured a floral embellisments.
