Cara Delevingne added a sultry edge to her elegant look at the 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday. The model chose a simple yet ornate black dress for the star-studded event.
For the special occasion, the model chose a sleek black dress with an asymmetric cape effect cascading down one shoulder. The dress featured a single long sleeve contrasting with the cape and included a cropped top and skirt combination, revealing Delevingne’s intricate tattoo.
The ensemble featured a dramatic backless design, revealing Delevingne’s tattoo at the base of her neck and along her spine. This modern, daring twist on the little black dress offered a sultry interpretation of the dark glamour aesthetic.
When it came to her accessories, Delevingne opted for minimal jewelry, favoring some bold rings and a pair of simple earrings. The “Paper Towns” star’s makeup highlighted a clean look and finish, with the addition of bold eyes and brows and a muted pink lip.
Delevingne is the latest star to opt for the backless look at a red carpet event. While attending the 2024 Academy Museum Gala on Oct. 19, Nicole Kidman opted for a look with an exposed back as well — coincidentally, she also wore a black dress.
The LACMA Art+Film Gala, sponsored by Gucci, supports the museum’s curatorial programming, exhibitions, acquisitions and more programs that explore the intersection of art and film.
