Applications for the Fall Edition of New York Men’s Day Now Open

Applications have opened for the next season of New York Men’s Day.

The next edition of the biannual showcase is slated for February for the fall season.

That will mark the 23rd edition of New York Men’s Day, which was founded by Agentry PR in 2014 to showcase emerging and genderless contemporary talent. Between 10 and 12 brands will present their collections in individual studio spaces. Half will show in a two-hour session during a morning session and the other half in an afternoon session.

The event draws fashion editors, buyers, stylists and influencers. Designers who are selected receive media coverage, the opportunity to show their work to potential buyers, and a chance to network with fashion industry professionals. NYMD covers 85 percent of the cost of the presentation for each designer selected.

The New York Men’s Day committee for this season includes stylist Memsor Kamarake; Aria Hughes, editor in chief of Complex Media; Joseph Errico, editor in chief of Grazia, and Jian DeLeon, men’s fashion and editorial director of Nordstrom.

To apply for inclusion, designers can visit the New York Men’s Day website and fill out an application. They will be accepted until Nov. 15.

New York Men’s Day is typically held on the opening day of New York Fashion Week in February and September and is part of the official calendar for the season. Agentry PR was founded by Erin Hawker in 2010 and offers a range of marketing communications in the fashion, lifestyle and entertainment sectors.
