Adriana Lima got ready for her first appearance on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway in six years while embracing one of the season’s bigger trends: the oversized jacket.
The Brazilian model and actress chose a black leather jacket with a tie-belt at the waist, which reached her knees. Lima was one of the brand’s most prominent figures, first walking for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show in 1999. In 2000, she was officially minted a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

During her 18-year career as an Angel, she modeled three Fantasy Bras — in 2008, 2010 and 2014 — making her one of the few Angels to do so. Her 2008 Fantasy Bra was designed by Martin Katz and featured 3,900 gems, including 117 white diamonds and 34 rubies.

After retiring as an Angel in 2018, she returned to the brand in 2023 for a fragrance campaign featuring the redesigned Heavenly Eau de Parfum.

Adriana Lima’s checker-striped outfit featured a black bra and panty set, high-waisted checker-striped pants, and a matching long-sleeved cut-out top over a shimmering bra and underwear set with crisscross wrap detailing around her torso. The look was completed with a twist on the brand’s signature angel wings, styled with a grunge edge, featuring rips and liquid ombres of orange, red, pink and purple.

Lima’s second runway look was a red-hot nightie with a sweetheart neckline. The sheer lace ensemble featured frill detailing at the hem. She wore red wings with whimsical swirl detailing, creating a cutout effect in the shimmery swirls. The look was completed with wrap-around strappy sandals with fringe detailing.

After a six-year hiatus, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back. The 2024 spectacle aired live on Prime Video and across the brand’s YouTube, Instagram and TikTok channels. Former Angels such as Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio and Taylor Hill walked the runway alongside new faces like Paloma Elsesser and Devyn Garcia. Cher, Tyla and Lisa of Blackpink were the evening’s musical guests.
