Bape and Stadium Goods are joining forces on an apparel and sneaker collection.
The streetwear label and sneaker retailer, respectively, are teaming up on the Varsity Blues Collection of apparel and sneakers that is said to celebrate “high school hallways and blacktop basketball courts,” according to both brands.
“We are very excited to partner again with Bape, one of the most iconic streetwear brands,” said Michael Daniel, senior vice president of business strategy at Stadium Goods. “This new collection takes a step further on our first collaboration and offers a larger range including head-to-toe apparel and the BapeX watch. It’s a celebration of basketball’s enduring influence on street culture and style.”
The collection offers a new version of the Bape STA sneaker and BapeX watch, as well as hoodies, varsity jackets, sweatpants and T-shirts designed in a white, navy and gold color palette. Prices for the collection range from $99 for T-shirts to $599 for the watch.
The Bape STA sneaker is the standout style of the collection. It is designed in a navy and gold colorway and features the star logo designed in a terry cloth fabric.
Bape and Stadium Goods previously teamed in 2021 for the latter’s first sneaker launch. The collection offered two sneaker styles: the Bape low-top Bape STA and the “Sk8 Sta” sneaker. The sneakers were designed in gray tones and included Bape’s star motif and the number 93 as a nod to Bape’s launch year.
The limited-edition Stadium Goods X Bape collection will be available to purchase starting Saturday at Stadium Goods and Bape retail stores, as well as on the brands’ websites and at Farfetch.
